A drug test has been scheduled for football player Victor Osimhen by the Confederation of African Football.
Following Osimhen’s outstanding performance against Cameroon in the AFCON 2023 Round of 16 match on Saturday, the Confederation of African Football has selected Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen for an unforeseen drug test. Osimhen played a key role in Nigeria’s 2-0 victory, earning them a spot in the quarterfinals.
Vanguard reports that Osimhen’s outstanding efforts during the game have captured the attention of CAF, leading to his selection for a random drug test. As the current CAF Player of the Year, Osimhen is expected to lead the front line for the three-time champions in the upcoming quarter-final against Angola this week.
